Place Pulse

Place Pulse is an attempt to generate quantitative data on aspects of cities that are hard to quantify, such as the effect that urban looks have on our perception of a city’s safety or our own perceived level of prosperity. To answer these question we crowdsource the comparison of pairs of images that show randomly chosen urban landscapes. This allows Place Pulse to rank the different location of cities according to each one of these questions.
